Adding one more blessing...

Do you remember what life was like before you added each child? And you wondered how the next one would change your lives? I can think about those moments pondering before each one entered our family. Now I look after years have past and am so thankful for the impact each child has had and how the Lord has blessed us through them. This guy just started his first job today as a lifeguard...and actually made his first "save" today. We only have two years left with him at home before he plans to enter (Lord willing) one of the military academies.

My two princesses...the blue eyed and brown eyed princesses...one who speaks fluent Spanish...the other who is still working on her English skills. Almost 5 years apart, but amazing to watch how they play together and love one another.
Our newly graduated 8th grader...off to high school next year. So many gifts and talents yet to be discovered within himself. We see so much potential that he doesn't even see in himself yet...it will be fun to watch this unfold for him in the next few years (as long as we can survive the hormones:O)

I remember when we considered stopping at two and here we are... about to add number five. I want to thank all of you out there for praying for us along the way and for your prayers over the next several weeks as we add this one more blessing. I also want to thank you for coming along side us and partnering with us in the different ways you have...you have made a difference in our lives by your actions...so I say thank-you!

This last thought is in Red for the country to which we are heading. Please keep in mind that we cannot share all while we are there as all is watched carefully and screened. We will be as direct about our prayer needs as we are able...but please plan to read between the lines...even our email can be censored. We will update you soon as we arrive from a new location...should be June 15th:O)

Melissa,
I am so excited for you and Rob as you leave on a new adventure. I know there will be days of overwhelming blessing, days of doubt, but you have been such a wonderful encouragement to me during my journey with jonathan. I am praying for you and know without a shadow of a doubt that Matt will be so loved and blessed to be part of your family.
