So, we had our last skype chat with Matt last night. The next time we talk to him, it will be in person. I am not sure what event he was attending here, but obviously it captured his interest. It is so cool to see him in the hat we sent him...in that I was once putting it in a package and now I get to see it in pictures in his head:O) We depart on June 14th from a large airport that we have to drive to...and then arrive in Be*jing on June 15th. We will spend 1 day doing some touristy stuff so that Evan can see the historic sites of Be*jing and then we will be off to New Day where we will spend 3 days getting introduced and starting to get to know Matt. We are very excited to meet him, his foster family, the staff and the many kids we have been seeing pictures of over the months. We will then fly to Matt's province of birth in central/southern Ch+na where we will spend a week doing paperwork. Finally, we spend the last week in the far south where the "land of the free and the brave" has their consulate. Here Matt will have his physical, get shots, and we complete our final papers for bringing him home. We will land on home soil on July 2nd...and see if we can make the drive home that same day:O) So, that's the plan...we so appreciate all who have been covering us in pr#yer during this journey and for the many who have blessed us in many other ways! Keep pr#ying please and stay tuned as we are on the final countdown...
